Frigg Secures 2nd Place in HKMA’s Pioneering Green Fintech Competition

Frigg, a Swiss-based pioneer in sustainable finance technology, proudly announces its remarkable achievement of securing the 2nd place in the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) Green Fintech Competition, held as part of the Green and Sustainable Banking Conference on December 11, 2023.
This prestigious event, which convened around 400 experts from banks, technology firms, regulatory authorities, and academia, focused on accelerating the net-zero transition through innovative technology.
The HKMA Green Fintech Competition, a highlight of the conference, sought market-ready solutions in areas such as Net-zero Transition, Climate Risk Management, Green and Sustainable Finance, and Sustainability or Climate-related Disclosure and Reporting. Frigg, among more than 70 companies, showcased its advanced solutions, which include blockchain-based systems for ESG data reporting and analysis, and AI-powered tools for physical risk assessment.
Mr. Arthur Yuen, Deputy Chief Executive of the HKMA, emphasized the urgency of the transition to net-zero and the central role banks play in achieving climate goals. The conference aimed to equip banks with the latest technological knowledge to effectively direct capital towards sustainable transition efforts.
